Más de 30 películas se proyectaran en esta VI edición del FiSahara,cine actual internacional en versión original con subtítulos al árabe. Proyecciones en 35 mm en dos pantallas, Desierto y Sala Club.
La pantalla Desierto se construye al aire libre para el disfrute del mejor cine bajo las estrellas saharauis.
FiSahara 09 inaugura una nueva sección "País invitado". Argelia será nuestro invitado de honor con la proyección de algunas de sus más recientes películas. Además un cine-bus acercará a las dairas de Dajla una selección de su cine de todos los tiempos.
El cine infantil será protagonista en las mañanas del Festival gracias a la colaboración de la Asociación Tambor de Hojalata, que seleccionará una muestra de cine internacional para niños.
Este año habrá dos sesiones dedicadas al cortometraje, una de ellas en colaboración con el Festival de Aguilar de Campoo, en la que se proyectará su palmarés de 2008, y otra con la Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV de San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba),con una muestra de sus producciones del año pasado.
El Festival de Cine Africano de Tarifa (FCAT) vuelve al FiSahara con dos películas seleccionadas de su certamen para nuestro público.

PROGRAMMING
More than 30 films will be shown in the Sixth Sahara International Film Festival, or FiSahara. These are current international films shown in original language form with subtitles in Arabic. Films are projected in 35mm on two screens, Desierto and Sala Club.
The Desierto screen is situated in the open air for all to enjoy the best cinema under the stars that shine on the Sahrawi camp.
FiSahara 09 debuts a new section, “Honored Guest Country.” Algeria will be our honored guest with the projection of some of its most recent films. In addition, a cine-bus will bring to the districts of Dakhla, a selection of Algerian films throughout history.
Children’s cinema will be shown in the mornings of the Festival thanks to the contribution of the Tambor de Hojalata Association, who will select a showing of international films for children.
This year there are two sessions dedicated to short films, one of them in collaboration with the Aguilar de Campo Festival, in which they show the winners from 2008, and the other with the International School of Cinema and Television of San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba), with a showing of their productions from last year.
The African Film Festival of Tarifa (FCAT) returns to FiSahara with two films selected from their competition for our viewing public.
