SUKUT. La memoria del silencio de Jon Herranz / 78 min / España / 2010
SINOPSIS
En los campamentos de refugiados de Tinduf hace más de 30 años que el pueblo saharaui espera para conseguir el objetivo que los forzó a exiliarse: volver a su tierra libres de cualquier dominación extranjera. "Sukut. La memoria del silencio" recoge los testimonios de vida de exiliados saharauis de edad avanzada con un triple objetivo: preservar la memoria histórica de este pueblo de tradición básicamente oral, poner nombre, cara y sentimiento a unas vivencias y unos datos demasiado objetivados, y sobre todo, dar la palabra a aquellos a los que se ha hecho estar en silencio desde hace demasiado tiempo.
SYNOPSIS
In the refugee camps of Tindouf, for more than 30 years the Saharawi people is waiting to get the goal that forced them to exile: to return to their land free from any foreign domination. "Sukut. The memory of silence " collects the testimonies of life of elderly Sahrawi with three objectives: to preserve the historical memory of this people, that have basically an oral tradition, show the human aspects of some experiences and datas too much objectified, and especially, give the word to those who have ben silented too long ago.
