El 5 de Mayo se  presentó en Madrid la plataforma TODOS CON EL SAHARA. El actor Javier Bardem lidera esta iniciativa que cuenta con el apoyo de otros actores como Rosa María Sardá, Carmelo Gómez, Verónica Forqué o Guillermo Toledo; y directores como Fernando Colomo, Icíar Bollaín y Julio Medem. La plataforma surgió durante la V edición del Festival Internacional de Cine del Sahara celebrada el pasado mes de abril en el campamento de refugiados de Dajla, en Argelia. Su objetivo es conseguir un mínimo de 500.000 firmas antes del 15 de septiembre para pedir al Gobierno español que reconozca el estatus diplomático del Frente Polisario.
